Abstract: Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry course(OSHA 500) 3 CEUs. 4 ABIH CEUs. Prepare your students to teach the 10- and 30-hour Construction Safety and Health Outreach Program to your employees and other interested groups. Learn and practice training techniques and participate in the development and delivery of lectures. Following the successful completion of the written exam, you will be an authorized OSHA Trainer for the 10- and 30-hour Outreach Programs. A laptop is recommended. Prerequisites: OSHA 510 and five years of construction safety experience. A college degree in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist designation in the applicable training area may be substituted for two years of experience. OSHA TRAINING INSTITUTE FACULTY. ■■ 4 meetings. ■■ March 9-12: Tues.-Fri., 8 a.m.-5 p.m. ■■ Sacramento: Sutter Square Galleria, 2901 K St. ■■ $750.
