California’s Office of Administrative Law has approved Cal/OSHA’s indoor heat illness prevention regulation. The controversial regulation is now in effect. General Industry Safety Orders §3396 standard applies to most indoor workplaces, including warehouses, restaurants, and manufacturing facilities.
