Public Hearing on Crane Operator Proposal Dec. 12 in Sacramento

More than three years after it was formally requested, a proposed standard setting crane operator qualifications and requiring operators to be certified has been finalized and submitted to the Cal/OSH Standards Board. The proposal will be part of the board's public hearing at its Dec. 12, 2002, meeting in Sacramento.The board also will take public comments on another proposal that would permanently adopt emergency regulations recently approved regarding liquefied natural gas.
